Okay, so this is the deal.

The Pony Girl Club unofficially disbanded due to extenuated personal dervishes and it was a bummer. Shit was overwhelming for both of us. Trying to juggle school and jobs and bands AND trying to one-up yourself several times a day to sate your readers is hard.

This time around is going to be way more casual. I'm gonna keep it real about whatever I want to and I'll do it when I please. Mostly music, sometimes movies, mayhaps occasionally fashion, makeup, trapping souls, snacks WHATEVER I WANT TO IT'S MY BLOG AND YOU WILL LIKE IT.

I also got a twitter account because I'm a grown-ass woman, feel free to follow me to find out when I've posted.

Anyways, this is a video from an album I've been listening to a lot lately, The Horrors' second album, Primary Colours.



These dudes are killin' it. They're a bunch of British way-too-skinny fucks with dumb hair and probable shitty teeth but the synth lines in all the songs on this album rule ass. I don't know what synth the dude uses, exactly, since apparently no one that conducts interviews wants to talk gear (talking birds and booze is easier: FACT). I've seen one picture of homeboy playing what looks like a Hammond XB-2, but I'm sure he's also got a few effects on it.

Fun fact: Primary Colours was produced by an old dude from Portishead and Chris Cunningham. Yeah, the crazy motherfucker that does all the Aphex Twin videos. Weird.

talk about snacks, definitely. the horrors were on the mighty boosh last week and it was pretty good. if you havent seen the mighty boosh you need to. adult swim on sundays.

Last week I caught these dudes, The Paragraphs , rockin' yee olde Boar Cross'n and they're playing again tomorrow night at the Beauty Bar.
